The factory KTM MotoGP riders are quietly optimistic ahead of the Italian Grand Prix following their productive test day at Aragon and Pedro Acosta discussed the hope in the KTM camp after Aragon while outlining the aspirations for the upcoming weekend. Acosta mentioned the progress made at Aragon and the goal to be as close to the podium as possible for the Italian Grand Prix. Despite KTM having new bits to try at Aragon, Acosta finds it challenging to make a clear judgment and hopes for a good weekend like at Aragon. Brad Binder, despite scoring only one point at Aragon, is encouraged by the pace shown and believes Mugello could be a good track for KTM. Binder is looking forward to refining their setup and making use of aero changes that may improve traction and turn-in abilities. KTM aims to start the weekend strong and fine-tune their performance as they progress at the Italian Grand Prix.
